**Systems Administrator

**

The Systems Admin is responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining the company’s IT systems and infrastructure. This role includes ensuring system reliability, performance, and security, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues. The System Administrator will work closely with other IT professionals to support the organization’s technology needs and objectives.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities

**

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and software applications.

  • Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues and provide support for network-related queries.

  • Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to support organizational goals and objectives.

  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure and data.

  • Other duties as assigned

**Educational Requirements

**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or 4+ years of combined experience and professional knowledge.

  • Experience supporting a high-security environment and agilely addressing issues and problems related to security.

**Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

**

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.

  • Hands-on experience with server and network hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

**Additional Preferred Qualifications

**

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent.

Location

  • San Carlos, CA (onsite)

Personal Protective Equipment

PPE will be provided and is required to be used within certain areas of the manufacturing floor.

Work Environment

Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and a shop environment, with exposure to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, nuisance dust, and skin exposure to chemicals used to run/maintain machines.

Salary info:

$40.87 - $45.67 / hr
